Frustration.
I am so frustrated.
I’ve been working my ASS OFF at the gym, yet I’ve gained two pounds. I can only hope that it’s due to the Memorial Day Weekend Glutton’s Guide to
I’ve been so good since then, but yesterday, as I wore my very comfy fat girl pants, they started unzipping themselves. My fat girl pants. Losing the battle against my stomach. And I can’t use the regular excuse that I’m “building muscle” because that means I have one seriously muscular ass. I should be able to pull tractors with my butt cheeks right now. So, so much for looking good in my cousin’s wedding pictures this weekend. She, by the way, was a dancer and is now one of those ridiculously hot young nurses. Like the kind people want to dress up as for Halloween.
So to cheer myself up, I’ve finished my Sevens mix. It’s mostly fun, happy songs. Anyway, enjoy:
1. Basket Case - Green Day (#7 on Dookie)
2. Murder or a Heart Attack – Old 97s (#7 on Fight Songs)
3. Someday You Will Be Loved – Death Cab for Cutie (#7 on Plans)
4. Cherry Lips – Garbage (#7 on beautifulgarbage)
5. Filthy/Gorgeous – Scissor Sisters (#7 on Scissor Sisters)
6. Fit But You Know It – The Streets (#7 on A Grand Don’t Come For Free)
7. You’re Pretty When I’m Drunk – The Bloodhound Gang (#7 on Use Your Fingers)
8. Lounger – Dogs Die in Hot Cars (#7 on Please Describe Yourself)
9. I Believe in Symmetry – Bright Eyes (#7 on Digital Ash in a Digital Urn)
10. Popular – Kristen Chenoweth (#7 on Wicked)
11. Ruby –Apples in Stereo (#7 on Her Wallpaper Reverie)
12.
13. If You Need a Reason – Mason Jennings (#7 on Boneclouds)
14. Born at the Right Time – Paul Simon (#7 on Rhythm of the Saints)
And yes, yes, I apologize for the Wicked song, but it’s the best song of the show and come on, it’s Kristen Chenoweth! How can you hate her? She’s travel sized!
*This is how Count Von Count says seven. Seriously, go listen. “Five, Six, Sehwen! Ah Ah Ah!” My college roommate used to say it all the time to make me giggle. ...Sehwen. Heh.

It's good that we're really not overlapping much:

Yeah, I know you had The Streets on your Threes but I really wanted that song and I decided it was ok because it's a different album.
Whoa --- and I thought I was the only one out there who always thought that track #7 was always the best on any CD I ever listened - why is that???
Doooyyy- because it IS!
